Psychiatric Clinic - Psychiatrische Klinik Eichhof

The Hospital Eichhof was opened in 1886 by the Institute Bethel, and was intended for patients suffering from nervous disorders or alcoholism.

During the two world wars, the building served as a hospital and in the meantime as a children's convalescent home.

Since 1950 it was used as a psychiatry until 1998, and then changed owners.  Since then the building has been left derelict, and the once beutiful gardens is now wild and overgrown.

In May 2013 vandals set alight to the upperfloors, the damage is so extensive that the roof caved in, removing any possible hope to restore it.
